Synopsis:

Benjamin has lost his wife and, in a bid to start his life over, purchases a large house that has a zoo – welcome news for his daughter, but his son is not happy about it. The zoo is in need of renovation and Benjamin sets about the work with the head keeper and the rest of the staff, but, the zoo soon runs into financial trouble.

Based on a true story, this is the "feel good" movie of 2011. A family heartwarmer. One of those films where you cry one minute, and the next you'll find yourself laughing. Really cute.

We Bought a Zoo (2011)

I'm a bit shy to admit it - but I got more emotional watching this movie than I have watching any other in quite some time. External factors may have been in play, as they always are with the movie-watching experience, but I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected.
