Can we stop having story lines that contribute almost nothing to the general canon universe? The plot is weak in this one, making it feel like a random throw away movie. Felt like everyone's preformance was wasted.

Probably the best X-Men movie, only maybe competing with X-Men 2, and certainly the best course correction possible. All in all this definitely was an entertaining combination of the two existing X franchises.

A decent addition to the franchise - x-men fans won't be disappointed if their expectations are tempered. Nothing mind blowing, but with all the superhero junk floating around these days, this x-men story is better than some of the earlier installments.
