The Avengers (2012)

Awesome job getting all these characters together, a great feat. The story was good, loaded with action and catchphrases but not much substance.

  1. wintermayer Complaining about a lack of substance in a movie like this is like complaining that Big Mac's aren't healthy enough...it goes against the reason it exists :)

  2. brock No no, movies like this can have substance. X Men First Class has substance, The Dark Knight has substance. The Avengers, was lacking.

  3. wintermayer Not saying that superhero movies can't have substance, just that this specific one is about the marketing of getting existing franshise characters together in one place for the spectacle. It's the Freddy Vs Jason of superhero movies.
