GrammerNo. Honestly. I rented it. I was psyched. It's a classic and all that. I remember yelling at the TV, "END!" It was so bad. Huge stretches with no dialogue. Terrible. Just awful. It was better when The Simpsons spoofed it and Pierce Brosnan played the computer.

rossI feel like that's what hard science fiction is though. It's slow, calculated, meticulous and asks difficult questions. And given how much we rely on computers today, its themes have only become more significant. It's not exactly a "fun" watch, but you can't deny it's an impressive and influential piece of work.

GrammerI'll give you that for sure. Where will an over-reliance on computers get you? I get it. I read an essay on that once. It was a terrible movie too.
