Warrior (2011)

I expected it to pander to the tight-shirt and gold-chain wearin' UFC clods, but this is a great film. Really, really, really well done. Great acting all around, but how about that Nolte, folks? AHAB STOP THIS SHIP! Man he was awesome.

  2. jordan I honestly think this movie would have been far more successful and respected if the poster didn't look like an Abercrombie & Fitch advertisement. It deserved something subtler, like The Fighter or Rocky.

  3. smitty yeah brockie, great ending ... you'd think the typical hollywood thing to do would be to have the brothers end in a draw, followed by a big make-up scene between the brothers and father. but it was left open. true, jordan ... i'd guess they were going for a UFC fight-syle poster or something.
