Nougat_JesusMan, where to begin? Well, the first half or so is a mish-mash of directing styles and a train wreck of storytelling devices all thrown together, apparently because no one could think of a proper style for the film. Sure, some of it looked nice, but most was annoying: I got really tired of the camera showing something, panning a bit, then panning back to show something different. Did M. Night Shyamalan do uncredited work on this?
But in the second half I realized all of that was fulfilling a purpose: hiding the fact that the story and characters were absolutely uninteresting. How can a story about a man who's both an assassin and the host of The Gong Show be boring, you ask? I don't know, but it's like they soaked the film in bore-juice before they showed it; watching it is like having one of those dreams that you're still awake and can't get to sleep, only more painful.

Nougat_JesusIf you see this movie, you'll want to hurt it. But as they said on Mystery Science Theater 3000, "I can never hurt it the way it hurt me."
You may genuflect.
