Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner (2002)

Canada is a great land. Sure it resides under layers of ice, permafrost and dead frozen explorers. Sure it's so innocuous that's it's reknown mainly for its sugar shacks, geese, snowmobiles and Moose. I hope that this movie will be recognized also...

  1. Nougat_Jesus Sure our dollar -a coin used to save paper, here in the land of trees- is called a Looney and our two-dollar spot is magniloquently called a Twoony. We're a gentle people, albeit sometimes ignorantly permissive. We're a naturally ressourceful country, albeit wasteful squanderers of these natural ressources. Sure, we're a melting pot where all is welcome, including dissing from our neighbours ( whom we'll tolerate ). Yes: we are Canadians. Proud. A little cold in our Parkas®, standing on the corner of the Third World, our faces turned towards the windy future. Or is that a blizzard? Huh. Anyway, we are many of all of this and so much more. We are not, however, Americans... Who will likely hate this movie...
