The Village (2004)

This was way better than I remember it being, but full of weird holes that make just no sense at all. There's no reason for people to behave the way they do in this movie, except Adrien Brody. He was great.

  2. sabrina The Elders', in general. They murder the entirety of what must be their main source of wool; they chose to talk all old timey for no good reason; to print incorrect dates on tombstones, which would affect absolutely nothing except the audience's perception of when it is; to select two unwilling villagers to accompany a blind girl into the woods (when surely there would've been at least one volunteer - if they were meant to wait so as to not see the wall, then even Father Blind could've made the trip without going back to the Towns).

  3. jordan I'll have to watch it again, I'm forgetting a lot of the details. I just remember it not being as bad as people were saying at the time. And, as you say, Adrien Brody, am I right?

  4. sabrina It wasn't as bad as I remember it being, but there was lot of like.. "Surely they could just .. no? O..kay" And yeah, Adrien Brody was ace.
