Signs (2002)

It's true the majority of plotlines here can only be described as stupid but I want to be positive about Signs because I still think it's Shyamalan's second best film. Story is gripping, atmosphere is undeniable, and there's depth to the characters even if performance is patchy.

  3. jordan The religious stuff bothered me, other than that I had fun. (Though I do like that it's a movie seemingly about religion and hostile aliens)

  4. MildredFierce Yeah, all that stuff about chance and coincidence didn't really dance on my palette but for what it was I thought it was a respectable effort. Really felt the kinship in this it was sort of like 28 Days in that sense.

  5. ross +1. This movie needs more love. Regardless of how you feel about the ending, it's thrilling as hell. Great example of not show the audience too much, too early.
