Interstellar (2014)

The movie has 3 distinct acts, only the 2nd getting a passable grade, the first being poorly executed, and the third being as though it came from the mind of a retarded 13 yr old star trek fan. Huge disappointment. Probably still worth seeing - but temper you expectations.

  5. jordan Brock, I love where your head's at, but your math isn't complete. You need to add in a "Blockbuster that isn't a prequel/sequel/remake" bonus, which is easily 5-10 points, and the "Outstanding Ensemble Cast" bonus, probably another 5-10.

  8. dirty awful doesn't even begin to describe some of the bullshit Nolan tried to pass off as part of the story here. when coop starts talkin' about how it was "love" that transcend all the dimensions and that was what was gonna save the day.... seriously I wanted to vomit. I can't believe people aren't making a bigger deal about the parts of this that were terrible. The amazing aspects of the movie do not make the other parts any more forgivable.
