Gone Girl (2014)

Within the first hour, the script was wonderful, albeit slightly predictable. In the last hour, it went downhill and was worse with (and after) the hospital scene. BA's acting was acceptable, nothing more. Pretty good cast overall.

  1. ross ** Spoilers ** Haha, I thought the hospital scene was great. Watching Amy's weak storytelling convince everyone but the detective stirred up such conflicting feelings. I wanted her to get caught, but by that point I respected her tenaciousness enough that I also wanted her to get away with it. Pike nailed it. ** Spoilers **

  2. doudouce55 ** Spoilers ** too many questions, too many scenes. Why leave the "gifts" in the sister's shed? The hospital wouldn't have washed her blood off? The cameras recording in her ex's hiding place would have a proof she's lying, unless she's managed to erase it, but no mention of that anywhere. ** END Spoilers ** The entire development (both character and story) is ridiculously outrageous.
