The Interview (2014)

While the style of comedy isn't going to be for everybody, I enjoyed this for the silly comedy that it was. There were enough bits that worked for me to definitely give it good marks. Rogen and Franco are usually funny when playing high strung, panic driven moments.

  1. MikkoP The main problem was that Franco was always full blast 10, so when he's funny he's hilarious but when he's not its just stupid.

  2. wintermayer There certainly were some points where those acting choices didn't quite work for comedic gains but you've at least gotta admire the consistency of the character, he wasn't always funny but he was definitely always Dave Skylark, idiosyncratic juvenile egomaniac.

  3. MikkoP I do like to admire that James has developed his acting skills in a way no one really anticipated, I'm 100% sure he could play any white male under the sun at this point.
