Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Oddly enough, I didn't love this. The action was well shot and put together but something just didn't connect to the extent that I thought it would. Good, but missing a certain something that would push it into greatness.

  2. wintermayer 72 isn't a bad score...and I am quite tired today so who knows how a future rewatch may affect it but I was genuinely underwhelmed from the expectations going into it. It was a well done crib sheet of the best stunts and scenarios of 80's Aussie car based actioneers. If you watch Not Quite Hollywood you'll see clips from a lot of other flicks where it's clear George Miller was taking a lot of his cues.
