About a Boy (2002)

I'm not sure if this has gotten better with age, but it's certainly gotten better as I've aged. Hornby is a great chemist of a writer - characters, ideas, and story all synthesize perfectly, and in ways you might not expect. Frequently funny and occasionally profound.

About a Boy (2002)

Infinitely rewatchable. Hugh Grant does what he does best, being Hugh Grant, and takes this Nick Hornby adaptation into the realms of great movies of the 2000's, alongside the other Hornby adaptation, High Fidelity. Funny and actually earns the label heartwarming.
