Alien (1979)

Ripley of the Nostromo on her first terrifying encounter. Everything's right - best cast, best art, decent writing . . . darker & more chilled.

Alien (1979)

I am a complete pussy when it comes to horror films; I rarely ever watch them. I watched this once when I was a kid and I'll never watch it again ... it's a masterful study in absolute, claustrophobic, unescapable terror. Brilliant.

Alien (1979)

First of all, I'm not really a fan of this type of movie. I thought it was really good for when it was made but it's not something I would want to watch again. Also, they did what they shouldn't have done everytime!

Alien (1979)

I can't think of another movie that combines horror and science fiction as well as Alien. It's tight film that doesn't give you a second to breathe. It's pretty much perfect.

Alien (1979)

The O.G. Great atmosphere. Ridley Scott does wonders with small spaces. Also cool to see Tom Skerritt and Yaphet Kotto looking younger than I was ever used to. Sigourney became a deserving star after this one. Gotta love how different 70's Sci-Fi was.
