I'm never a fan of the dialogue from adapted books. But this movie's central theme makes it work perfectly. Aside from some hilarious narcissism and murder scenes it has some very ponder-worthy insights on appearances. Fun for the whole family, take the kids!

Jet black comedy. Surprised? Most people who haven't seen it would probably agree with you but this movie is really funny. A satire of 80's money culture, Patrick Bateman is a total sociopath, but is he really doing the things you see or is he insane....or both?
