I've been trying to rewrite this review 100 times, it all boils down to this: It's sad James Gandolfini can't make more awesome movies likes and it's amazing how much Tom Hardy stole the show.

The Drop (2014)

Few people are more enjoyable to watch on screen than Gandolfini and Hardy, and both are great in this. Scenes are painted thick with atmosphere too. Roskam seems like he could be a director whose movies I'll look forward to. Source material by Lehane doesn't hurt either.

A decent watch. Entertaining. Decent acting performances, script, directing. Gotta love Dennis Lehane's style, who adapted it from a short story. Also, last film of James Gandolfini. Just for that, very worth watching.
