Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Ten yrs later - still holds up. Charlie Kaufman blew my mind in my early twenties when my mind was ripe to be blown. He explores love, loss, and perception in such a novel way while still hitting their essence as clean as any other writer.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

As good as I remember it: smart, creative, genuinely romantic, and one you can return to again and again. Kaufman and Gondry compliment each other perfectly and deliver just the right about of quirk, originality and charm.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

I considered not giving this "100". I can't not, this is the highest bar for me with movies. Its tragic, funny, thoughtful, has one of the most memorable scores I've ever heard, and screams for re-watches. Not sure if its a masterpiece, but its the best movie I've ever seen.
