Frailty (2001)

One of Matthew's betters? I think not. This was both thematically and aesthetically clichéd, and the central plot twist is already gawking at you from the poster. Had me saying "ahh, hmm" a couple of times, but my overall feeling was swindled.

Frailty (2001)

A movie that keeps you wondering. There's a lot of twists in this southern gothic styled horror film. Proof that Matthew McConaughey is best left to doing these sorts of movies as opposed to some of his more generic fare.

Frailty (2001)

Adds up to far more than the sum of its parts mostly on the back of Paxton's earthy intensity. Every time the story begins to unravel or the mood loosen a great moment will snap things back into focus. Bring a healthy suspension of disbelief and enjoy.
