A story of two coalitions – ACT UP and TAG (Treatment Action Group) – whose activism and innovation turned AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition. How to Survive a Plague (2012)

Given the subject matter, one can understand that this had the potential to be a pretty inspired documentary, which it was. An amazing depiction of the unfathomable struggle the AIDS community had to endure to get access to health care and social justice.
