Killing Them Softly (2012)

Very enjoyable and not at all what I expected. I could have done without them pounding away at the economic collapse allegory, but the "lack of story" everyone is talking about is exactly what I found interesting. Not everything is important.

Killing Them Softly (2012)

Pretty decent mob movie with not much of a plot to speak of. Set during the financial crisis, draws a lot of heavy-handed parallels between underworld economics and the country's.

Killing Them Softly (2012)

There wasn't much to this movie - but what there was of it was done well. Gandolfini was gold. Pitt was too cool for me to enjoy, but it was alright. Not enough story to really sink your teeth in to though.

Killing Them Softly (2012)

Great! A simple story told with excellent writing, great characters and a bunch of dark humour. Maybe a tad slow for some people but I loved it. Bonus drinking game: Start and then finish your beer at the beginning and by the end of any scene with only two people speaking.
