There really is no denying the Midas touch of Paul Thomas Anderson. Although this falls somewhere between my second and third least favourite PTA films, the fact that he could cut a decent jib out of Adam Sandler is nothing short of a miracle.

Punch-Drunk Love (2002)

I wanted to like it, but I didn't. Instead I found it tedious, not particularly funny and a little too... cute? Seems like I'll need to revisit this again someday, but until then, I'll stick with PTA's more dramatic work.
