Shame (2011)

On the whole, I thought this was good. For such a sex-laden film though, this one may have a few nodding off. Expect a barrage of frustrating non-sequiturs and very long takes. And an irritating Antonioni-ish ending.

Shame (2011)

Maybe the best movie I've seen all year. I'm equally enamored with both Michael Fassbender and Carrie Mulligan - two of my favorite actors. Steve McQueen is great. Stylish and powerful. I really needed to see a good movie, and this was it.

Shame (2011)

Brooding, atmospheric, well acted. Not what I expected from McQueen, but exactly what I expected from Fassbender.
