Snowpiercer (2013)

It is very comparable to Dragon Ball Z. Extremely stupid, canyon-sized plot holes, like... SHAMEFUL plot errors! Though through all of that it is compelling, has some interesting ideas, and you do care what happens next. So thumbs up I guess.

Great visuals and atmosphere but hamstringed a bit by a bad ending. Still, the ride to get there was really good so it still gets high marks.

Great premise, but I wanted a little more coherency and a little less allegory. Still a fun watch.

Solid scy-fy concept with some sharp KOREEYAN!!! directing. I think the clumsy fascinating North American release added to its mystique so I went in thinking I was watching this off-the-map gem. Still though - not your run-of-the-mill scy-fy.

I have rarely seen a piece of cr@p as bad as this one. As a friend wrote: "A decent concept so badly conceptualized that it's hardly coherent." Avoid.
