Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)

"Less is more" is not a concept accepted by whoever edited this movie. Protracted scenes probably in part done to give Trek-starved trekkies great scenes to drink-in. The central idea and threat in the film is still great. Old cast does a good job too.
