Synopsis:

The classic story of English POWs in Burma forced to build a bridge to aid the war effort of their Japanese captors. The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)

I had never seen this in its entirety until recently. While the story certainly had more impact upon its release, the movie's still worth watching for the actors, the director’s work, the script and the photography. A beautiful classic, which should never be overlooked or missed.
