Synopsis:

When secretive new neighbors move in next door, suburbanite Ray Peterson and his friends let their paranoia get the best of them as they start to suspect the newcomers of evildoings and commence an investigation. But it's hardly how Ray, who much prefers drinking beer, reading his newspaper and watching a ball game on the tube expected to spend his vacation.

Classic 80's hi jinx. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Sadly, it took me 23 years to finally catch this, now all those references make sense. How about that Bruce Dern? This guy is going places. #anytimemovie

The 'Burbs (1989)

An odd mash of 80's mainstream comedy with dark comedy that works for me. One of my most rewatched films, I just keep coming back to the great performances of Tom Hanks and Bruce Dern who are both a little crazier than either would like to admit.
