Synopsis:

To take down South Boston's Irish Mafia, the police send in one of their own to infiltrate the underworld, not realizing the syndicate has done likewise. The Departed (2006)

Scorsese's Oscar film and it earned it, even if he maybe should have already had a couple more by then. A remake of the Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs, this movie has great acting, directing and story. Highly recommended for crime movie fans.
