The Place Beyond the Pines (2013)

This movie had that "real" feeling that I really enjoy. While it felt slow at some points, it had a unique plot that kept you hooked to see how it would play out. Lastly, I can't ignore the fact that this Ryan Gosling movie felt very much like Drive, which I also enjoyed.

I really liked the unconventional arc of the story. You really had no idea that it would go the way it did. I don't think I'm satisfied with where or how the story ended, but overall, the movies was solid for me.
