X-Men: First Class (2011)

Has anyone ever noticed that micheal fassbender's tears come from the middle of his eyes?? it actually looks so odd. I liked the casting a lot and Fassbender is always amazing. Pretty good

X-Men: First Class (2011)

Impressive. Enjoyable. Entertaining. McAvoy & Fassbender #excellent Warning: Divorce yourself from all X-Men movies, there is no continuity. Watch by itself, not a franchise. Or you'll be deceived.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

I really liked this and was very surprised when I saw it in theatre. I showed it in my Career class and they were totally confused by it. I didn't realize that if you don't know the history of the characters the story is confusing. So, I think it's great for X-Man FANS.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

Though I left the theatre happy, I expected more from this movie. Mutant Tier A is tons of fun, Mutant Tier B (with the exception of ScreachFace) is downright embarrassing. Fassbender & McAvoy crush it, obvs.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

Meh. Lame. Fassbender and Mcavoy a treat to watch, both great actors. January Jones, however: DULL. Turns out mutants were boring back in the day (screamy boy, killer hula-hoop guy, mosquito girl, tornado-hands man) and their battles reflect that.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

If it weren't for James McAvoy, this movie would have been a big disappointment. Fortunately, his confident performance injected life into a middling script and turned it into a fun (if campy) outing. Maybe not a first class movie, but certainly an enjoyable second.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

Origin/creation tales are hard movies to do (see X-Men Origins: Wolverine). This movie covered a lot of ground and also told a great story in 2 hours (Magneto: Nazi Hunter). The story was solid perfect comicbook-sense (props: McAvoy/Bacon/Fassbender). #willwatchagain

X-Men: First Class (2011)

I don't hate this, but it's not great. I don't object to the use of lesser-known characters, but it was irritating having to explain them all to my watching-partner, and the movie didn't really take care of that part for me. Ultimately unexceptional and uninteresting.

X-Men: First Class (2011)

It was just pointless, and inept and inert and full of mediocre special effects, mediocre acting and set pieces I remember only to the extent that I laughed at them. I ALMOST enjoyed the pro-LGBT message if it hadn't been so in-artful that it maybe harmed the cause.
