Young Adult (2011)

Well, it doesn't have a Hollywood ending, but maybe it should have. There's an excellent meltdown scene, some great, cringe inducing awkwardness, and, Teenage Fanclub!! Not the best but if you're bored and surfing Netflix, it's worthwhile.

Young Adult (2011)

Like an episode of Curb on crack, Young Adult will test your tolerance for uncomfortable comedy. Charlize Theron plays the bat shit crazy lead absolutely perfectly and deserves all the acclaim she's received. See it if you think you can stomach it.

Young Adult (2011)

A poignant and remarkably well thought-out character study of a thoroughly unlikeable shrew with an exquisite scenario that's not overdone. It hooks you in, but not with notions of redemption.

Young Adult (2011)

Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody have teamed up before so you already should be familiar with their sensibilities when they get together. Charlize Theron plays an unglamorous role very well and Patton Oswalt is the films sympathy. Funny, but in a serious way.

Young Adult (2011)

80 is my cutoff for telling people that it was a solid movie...... this one comes up just shy. Patton Oswalt has a surprisingly dramatic role.
