The Lincoln Lawyer (2011)

Sort of like a less dour Grisham adaptation, this legal thriller was a little more reliant on charm and typical mystery elements than the standard legal thriller. Gotta give it up to McConaughey for not just coasting like he seems to so often.

  2. wintermayer Sometimes you don't need an "actor", sometimes you just need a big ol' movie star to make a role work.. Charm isn't something you can learn by practicing the method.
