Her (2013)

One thing found strangely absent from this film is quotable lines. Lacking legacy in its writing doesn't seem to take away from it though. It just feels genuine, no outrageous emotions, but the subdued true-to-life ones. Also Joaquin subtly nails the shit out of every scene.

  7. MildredFierce Also, gotta disagree with you on the absence of quotables here. To me it almost felt like they started with a trailer and then made the movie. Still awesome though.

  8. MikkoP re:ing on my her review I do actually find it quoptable now, but also I feel like its an introspection on modern people's fear of intimacy, i'm pretty sure thats at least one of its theme's if not its main one.
