Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)

What does it say about a film when you cheer for the bad guy? There's no doubt Into Darkness is exciting and looks great, but as a whole, it's pretty darn messy. After two films, they have yet to create a fully realized world that I wish to return to. Next mission? Count me out.

  1. dirty Really eh? Huh - I mean, it's pretty pulpy (alright - super pulpy), but you didn't find this fun? This shit is what JJ Abrams is born to do and I'll keep coming back again and again for it, although I hope Star Wars ends up a little more sophisticated.

  2. ross Yeah man, I found the whole thing smarmy. I remember liking the crew in the first one, but everyone bothered me this time round. I wanted them to get cut down to size.
