Camp X-Ray (2014)

Emotional and topical drama that I'd love to see promoted more. While a bigger picture view of the terrible things happening in Guantanamo could make for a weightier film, the personal story makes for easier consumption. Peyman Moaadi easily steals the show.

Camp X-Ray (2014)

Stale story criticism can definitely be levelled but with execution this good, I'm not complaining. With its relevant backdrop and stunning verisimilitude, Camp X-Ray is an important reminder of moral intelligence.
