I just didn't like the direction the studio took these films. the Fantastic Four has never been a gritty comic but it was never quite this wholesome either. The Surfer was alright but they really went too far away from the original with what they did with Galactus.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

I find many movies offensive, but it is a rare treat to witness something so shocking to the conscience that I have to turn it off. Three different sessions it took to get through this insulting, shlockly, and unbearably smug pile of offal.
