Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine (2003)

Good doc about an alleged conspiracy to defeat World Chess Champion, Garry Kasparov, with an IBM designed computer engine called Deep(er) Blue. Weird editorial and storytelling choices for this weirder historical event. Overall, it was intriguing, at least to a chess fan.

Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine (2003)

What sounded like a potentially fascinating story is bogged down by bad documentary styling. Maybe it isn't their fault, in retrospect a chess documentary might not be as exciting as the premise initially sounded. Maybe someone else needs to take a shot at this tale.
