The Room (2003)

I love this movie. It changed the way I think about movies. Delightfully poor writing, acting, directing, and sex scening. You gotta see it. Don't watch it alone, unless you like talking to yourself. You'll need someone there with you to share the experience.

The Number 23 (2007)

Not good. I'll never get the time back. There are probably a hundred better movies about a tortured obsessed guy trying to find a murderer and it's so crazy because it turns out to be...I won't spoil it, because it can't be spoiled. - A classic whocareswhodunit

A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)

This movie's awesome. You have to see it just for Marlon Brando's off the charts performance. They toned down (omitted) some of the more controversial aspects of the original play, but it's still heavy. Bonus: Sweating seems way cooler and more bad-ass to me now.

Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine (2003)

Good doc about an alleged conspiracy to defeat World Chess Champion, Garry Kasparov, with an IBM designed computer engine called Deep(er) Blue. Weird editorial and storytelling choices for this weirder historical event. Overall, it was intriguing, at least to a chess fan.

Summer School (1987)

This is Mark Harmon's 9th Symphony, Kirstie Alley's Sgt. Pepper, and a few other actors' best movie. In some cases - only movie. Better than a lot of so-called "classics" from the 80s. Bikinis.
