Skyfall (2012)

Bond's family album or scrapbook. It mostly "feels" right and drips with all the best sensory things about Bond. It's not the best of Craig's and some rather convoluted schemes in there, but it was a phenomenal movie.

Shit.... watched this in November and forgot to review it. No in-depth analysis here, other than it was an above average Bond flick.

Regret not seeing this on the big screen. Still an enjoyable Bond movie. Worth a watch.

I didn't dislike Quantum however this truly was the proper next step for Daniel Craigs tenure as Bond. Some nice nods to the past as a way to cement the future of the franchise. A few more like Skyfall and Casino Royale and we may have ourselves a new best ever Bond.

This started out as the best Bond ever; a nice infusion of Bourne without sacrificing too much of the glamour and cheese that makes Bond great. I just don't understand why they let Stallone write the ending?

Daniel Craig is still the best blond James Bond. Javier Bardem is still an awesome crazy villain. Judy Dench is still the best Bond girl.

i would have really given 100, but that is reserved for Zoolander.

Bond finally is back ... the "reboot" only took three films. Craig plays the best Bond since Connery. The film lags a little in the last half-hour, but all in all it was great. Bardem is fantastic.

What a rush! From the opening train sequence to the final shootout in Scotland, this film is a extremely enjoyable.

I could blather on about how this similar to The Dark Knight, then I could make a Home Alone reference to top it off, but fuck man.... this movie is really great. Happy to see a rejuvenated Bond.

This was a HIGHLY entertaining movie. The throwbacks to earlier Bonds were pleasant but it felt a bit overdone. The ending was my favourite part! Definitely must see now or on DVD, Bonus drinking game: Take a sip of your Martini and try to be cool!

Solid entertainment. I'm a big fan of D.Craig's gritty Bond. Javier Bardem was excellent as always and the Bond origin story that was touched on was definitely intriguing. Not sure if this was as great as the critics made it out to be, but miles better than Quantum of Solace

Bond is back, baby. After the uninspired Quantum of Solace, Skyfall performs some much needed course correction and ultimately creates one of the more memorable films in the series. Craig is solid, Bardem dazzles, and Dame Judi and the supporting cast round it out perfectly.

A lot to like: luring locations like London, laudable lowlifes, less lovers in the limelight. Bond believable, Bardem borderline brilliant, but boundless breadth's a reason for reluctance to rewatch.

Creative and extremely smooth action sequences. The imagery is absolutely incredible. It delivers everything it promises and is an amazing iteration of the Bond series. The dialogue wasn't to my tastes at all, it was conversations comprised of one-liners, or a serious monologue.

So much to process. Enormous and needed improvement from Quantum, but I'm still mixed. Got a feeling this could become the Prometheus of Bond films.
