I expected to like this a little more, but was still pretty pleased with it. There wasn't much more to it than an action packed martial arts movie, but it didn't try to be anything else.

Accidentally rented it with only Swedish subtitles so couldn't really follow the plot and it didn't matter. Fantastic action sequences and very well put-together.

I felt genuine excitement watching this and not just during the fight scenes. The tension and mood was pitch perfect. If you like action films then this is a must see.

From beginning to end, the Raid: Redemption was full of excellent and incredibly well-choreographed action sequences, plenty of gore and even provided a slightly entertaining plot (although a bit thin, which was to be expected). Absolutely blew away my expectations.

AWESOME. This movie is absolutely beautifully shot. The use of sound is really striking - there's very little dialogue, but tonnes of sound cues. The action is fluid and not jerky aroundy. Kicking, punching, yelling, shooting, mayhem mayhem mayhem!
