Twelve Monkeys (1995)

I'm biased. I loved Chris Marker's La Jetee, which largely inspired this film. While this may be one of Gilliam's best picture, I feel the story is an absolute mess.

Twelve Monkeys (1995)

Its odd cyperpunk future bits are very fun to look at, from it being primarily props with that handmade feel to them. The plot itself either intentionally or unintentionally makes you question if what is happening is actually real, which is a first for me. Toppish notch.

Twelve Monkeys (1995)

This movie just really didn't do it for me. I thought that it was a decent idea that was poorly executed. I got bored of the characters and once you saw what was going on, it was a matter of just waiting out the inevitable.
